Monika Lehmenkühler, a German lady residing in
Cologne, did not re-invent
the wheel, but invented a novel bitless bridle
for horses, the LG Bridle™. Monika Lehmenkühler has been riding for
more than 36 years. During that
time, she trained more than 70 horses. She recognized increasing problems that horses have with bits,
regardless of the type of bit. Her
keen sense for the needs of these sensitive animals, and her longstanding
experience horse riding and with horses eventually led her onto the right
path – and the LG Bridle™ emerged.
When Claudia Chavis came across Monika’s website searching for bitless solutions suiting her Peruvian Paso
mares, she knew she found something that would work. She contacted Monika the same day and
ordered a sample. Within a few weeks
she had tried out the LG Bridle™ with all her horses. All are now riding beautifully
in the LG Bridle™. Even her
daughters age 11 and 9 ride their mares with the LG Bridle™.
In May of 2007 Monika spent two weeks with Claudia training her, making Claudia
the first and only certified LG Bridle™ advisor in the US.
With this Claudia earned the qualification, through in-depth training with the inventor personally,
to convey the effective use of the LG Bridle™, related adequate riding methods,
as well as possible adjustment variations including the use of appropriate additions,
such as LG Shanks™. This practice is continously supported by the inventor.
Certified assistants continue to receive the latest findings, future advancements,
and the latest scientific knowledge on bitless riding.
